MBB which one
« on: September 12, 2011, 10:38:00 PM »
I am new to traditional archery. I am going to order masters of the barebow.  My question is does each volume build on the one before. Or would one volume benefit more than another. If it would what volume would it be.

1 and 2 are alot a like , many diffrent styles and tips from alot of masters . 3 is more about form and pratice and is great also but I would recomend 1 or 2 to someone new that may still be looking for there on style but stll get plenty of shooting from tips then I would go to 3 to refine my form and shooting style . My favorite is 1 but I like all 3 .

I've never seen volume IV, but of the others I found volume III to be the most helpful.  I learned things from each of them, but III helped me the most with proper form.  If you can, I'd get all of them, but if I had to pick one I'd pick III.

Definately III.  I and II are interesting and entertaining, but they just show different methods without really getting into the mechanics of the shot.  III gets down to the nuts and bolts in detail.  I haven't seen IV yet, but I believe it's primarily about the mental aspect of archery.

You don't need I or II to understand III, but you'll want to see them all sooner or later.

LBR is right. They are all good in their own right(I have all 4). Denny and Darryl did such a great job that watching one just makes you want to get the next one too!

But the first one.....you'll want the next, then the next, and so on!!
