Does anyonen have experience, or know who had the Grinding Wheel Mounted system for sharpening broadheads and knives?

Thank you,

My brother has the one from Alaskan Bowhunter (the folks who make Grizzlystick arrows) and it worked pretty good for knives, not too well for broadheads.  His main complaint was that it was hard to re-grit the wheel after a while when it stopped working.  TRW

I think they work great for knives. You will get a sharp edge fast. Not as good as a KME, in my opinon. On the paper wheel you control the angle and it takes a little bit of practice to get a consistant angle along the whole edge of the knife. I feel that there is more constancy with a jig sharpening system like KME, from developing the edge to honing and polish.

I love my wheelie system from Alaska Bowhunting Supply!  Just sharpened 10 Eclipse last night as a matter of fact.  Factory grind strait out of the package and only took about an hour.  I have used it on everything from knives to Abowyers to Grizzly's to Zwickey's to...and "for me" the best system I have used to date.  I will say, however, that I have not tried the KME...yet!

I use one all the time.  I use it to get the edge to where it takes hair off my arm, then switch to a leather  strop and paste polish for the final edge.   The broadheads will cut you if look at them.   Takes a bit to get the hang of holding the right angles.

x2

I just bought this from Jim, it is excellent.  I have been shooting Shark's and this system is fast sharpening the curved edge.  Watch Jim's video on the sight.  First broadhead and knife I tried - shaving sharp!

I was stunned it was that quick.  I have used some of the other systems and they work great, but they ain't quick.
