My carbons when I hunt with them carry 220 gn 4 blade Muzzy Phantoms. I shot a nice 6 point last year with one. Perfect heart shot. The  deer was dead as soon as I hit it. Ran maybe 45 yards. You had to see the hole.    :scared:   Center punched the heart at 15 yards. Give me your cell # I'll send you the pictures if you want.{very graphic}

anw0625, I think with a light draw weight, a razor sharp 2 blade will get better results(penitration)??  :campfire:    :coffee:

Here is the pics of the test I did with the 2011 Muzzy MX-3 125.  These have a SS ferrule.  I picked up a few for a customer and decided to give them a try.

Can't wait to see what they come out with for 2012;)

Anyone use the 3 blade 100 grain tip with a 100 grain brass adaptor on a gold tip shaft? I was thinking of trying these out this year.

I personally like the 4 blades.  I wish they made a MX in a 125 4 blade with a steel ferrule.

I like the 220gr phantom with the bleeders removed.  Makes for a tough, accurate 200gr 2 blade.

Muzzy 100 3 blade is my favorite all time head for any bow in a lighter weight head.  I have one arrow set up with them this year and it is the GT 5575 with 100 brass and 100 point.  I don't know I will use them because I really want to try out the woodsman elite heads I have set up on another arrow combo.

Last two years I shot the 125 Phantom.  Great flying head and quiet.  I would still be shooting them, but wanted to try out a three blade cut on contact this year.

I've shot almost every Muzzy made. When I shot wheelies it was always 100 gr 3 blade traditional Muzzy's. The old chisel tip. Wicked heads... I've shot hogs thru the head.

After shooting my first buck with a Zwickey 125 I decided to go heavier and am shooting both Simmons Shark 190's and Muzzy Phantom 220. The 220 is an AWESOME head. Stirkes with real authority  out of my Grizzly.

I use the three blade 125gr. heads with the 100gr. inserts. They do fine.I would have to think the 100's would be fine as well.
