David, I am aware of that and to clarify what I wrote earlier I should have should have specified mis-alligned nock taper, the nocks were on square but arrow flight was lousy as you would expect.

Ok, just checking... Some ways of tapering shafts are not very accurate also. There can be shatter and uneven removal of wood which results in an unbalanced taper also.
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.
