New bow and Wife says, "you go both ways"?
« on: September 17, 2011, 02:49:00 PM »
I finally got out to pick up my new Double shelf 70" Yew and Purpleheart Mahantango 55#@28". As usual this thing is shooting like a dream. I had all the lams run in front of the grip for a change up. So I come home and show the wife. She says, "so now you go both ways"? Only with bows honey.     :readit:

I'm only a quarter proficient shooting from one side, hate to think how it would be from two sides. Sounds like your wife has a great sense of humor, and she "lets' you buy bows. Double bonus! I like that purpleheart, I'm not sure what your wife would say about that!

I had to read this one a couple of times to understand.......old age is slowing down the thought processes I guess.  Glad to see that you remain flexible, at least with your bows.  Your wife sounds like my kind of lady!

Looks good, the double shelf looks as good either side as any one side bow. Never heard of the maker before.

Vaughn, missed having you along. Jim had some nice tempered bamboo to show you, and the conversation was good as always. Yes Jim is a great bowyer and he worked his magic again. I'll bring my new bow when we hunt Saturday along with your Jerry Hill I brought back. See ya in the am.

Maybe it was the pink that threw your wife off the game there temporarily!

That sure is a bow you won't loose in the woods quickly!

Sounds like you've got a great mate!
