How many of you trad bowhunters use an arrow holder of some type? Of those who use one, what is your preferred style and why? Do you or would you want to have one that would not be permanently mounted?

I ask this because I have seen several different ones but so far I have only tried using the toothpick/rubberband one. Some were adhesive mounts (Kwikee), some were permanent (pin drilled into riser) and some are just temporary (like the toothpick style). Each style seems to have it's positives and negatives. What's your preferred method and why?

This is what I have been using for 30plus years.Mounts with velcro so no damage to bow wrap rubber band around arrow hook on point and slides off when drawing arrow.

I like the Kwik-Lok Arrow Holder, because it is easy to put on and take off. But, I like it most of all because it just works and it quiet.

Toothpick and rubberband cost me a 6 point last year and a large 8 point the next day, both when they didn't release on draw.  I refuse to ever use them again.

Very nice bow and knife.
Is that a Palmer made bow?
If so, did he make that knife to match?
Very nice indeed.......Philip

Quick answer not to hijack thread.Bob Lee bow and Rob sent drop off pieces from riser.I made knife handle on a  Helle blade.Got bow and 3-sets of limbs after I quit smoking in 2005 still not smoking.
Gerardo  I will post another pic when I get home.Just a small piece of plastic wood looking from old T.V. console.About 1 1/2" long shaped to a dull point..Drill a small hole about 1/2" from point to hold rubber band.Put velcro or double side tape to mount to bow.Kip
