Feathers thru the Wind
« on: September 22, 2011, 09:11:00 PM »
Well after a spring and summer chasing snook and reds on fly all over Florida, I felt it time to get my bowhunting groove back on. After all the shadows are a bit longer and football season is in full swing. So for the last few days I have had our buddy Mark Baker's cd Feathers thru the Wind in my car. Perfect mood music for the trad bowhunter! Now if I can just find my bow.....

Was starting to think perhaps you've taken up fly throwing as a full time profession. First post since March!
Welcome back stranger, hope your shooting form is still intact.

I'm trying to wear out Marks CD!
My Bride says the first 10 times are the best, after that she wants to listen to Mark's other CD!

Hal, been using an iPhone since March and didn't take time to set it up with my password. Besides I had snook on the mind, especially since I lost the lease. Just finished sharpening the Randall knives, and broadheads. Just need to find those bows......

Lost your lease? Not good. I've got a Toso permit for Oct 6-9, and nobody wanting to use the guest. You interested? PM me.

Has anyone heard of any new music from Mark Baker? I sure hope so. For me his "Feathers thru the Wind" is a true classic.

Good luck locating your bow.

Good CD for sure. I keep it in the rotation in the Family car.

Chad K. Slagle has 2 CD's that get lots of play time with me. "High, Wild and Free" and "Nights Like This"
Mark Baker and Chad K. Slagle are two of the very best in my opinion.

Hey Don (Steve Sparks here)...welcome back to the feel of the string on your fingers. I've caught Bass, Trout and Ladyfish on a fly BUT catching a snook and a big Red has got to be the most fun that I guy can have standing up !!!

Don,
Your welcome to come hunt Thunderbow as my guest. Just let me know.
A new member, Brian, shot a doe Saturday afternoon. (He had some weird looking contraption that had wheels at the ends of the limbs, even referred to it as a bow?)

Hey all hope the season is going well. Steve this is actually a resurrected thread from several years ago but still relevant. I have Mark Baker's cd playing right now!
