Fun morning first time out.
« on: September 24, 2011, 11:44:00 PM »
For the first hour of my sit this morning, I could hear acorns being munched on behind me, to my right, and to my left. Finally had 3 deer coming up toward me through the thick stuff.  Once the lead doe was within 8 yards and coming into an opening for a shot, a doe right behind me, in my wind starts with the snorting and stomping. Of corse you know the rest of the story.

Normally when they snort like that you have been spotted not scented.
Proverbs 12:27
The lazy do not roast any game,
but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.
