I'm Wondering?

Does a Grizzly HAVE to be sharpened from point to rear ? Why?  :dunno:

I say yes. When you sharpen it all the way to the rear, the rear is the broadhead's maximum width so this creates the largest entry and exit holes on a pass through shot. If not sharpened to the rear, it might not make a pass through shot.

Why not from rear to point? That's how I sharpen all my knives etc?? Doesn't matter if I'm stabbing somthing or not.  :knothead:

I don't see why it would make any difference. I also sharpen everything I use from heel to point. BH's, knives, machetes, axes, and hawks. Don't see where a Grizzly would be any different.

I don't think it matters.I use a KME broadhead sharpener,sliding the edge into the stone at 90 degrees.Stropping is done pulling away from the edge.

Thank's fellas, I'm Hell on Wheels with a steel in my hand. Sharpening a single edge from the point is entirely backerds for me..  :laughing:
