Help me With Vest Fit
«
on:

Just bought a goose down fleece lined vest. Bought the large . How is a vest supposed to fit ? Snug to the body ? OR semi loose to allow for other clothes ?
It was ordered so not like in a store trying every one on.

I use a vest as part of a layering system. If it's not too cold, I'll wear a long john top and a wool shirt. A little colder, and I'll wear a vest over that. Quite cold and I'll wear a wool jacket/parka over that. For that reason, I like my vest to fit comfortably, not tightly, over my shirt. However, I don't want it so loose as to fill up and out my outer layer. Hope that helps.

Yes, thanks. We just boxed it up. Will be on the UPS truck tomorrow. Gonna get the Medium. It really was loose.
Considering my location, I think I have time
