Hi,

last week on a tournament with very rocky backstops me and a buddy bot had one arrow that broke.

Both were Beman MFX Classics with a 1" front alu footing. Different length, point weight and insert though (FOC and total weight of course, too).

And after looking at them broken shafts and starting to wonder i realized that both arrows broke excactly at their points of balance.

Is this a coincidence or am i after something there?

What you think?

Thanks Axel

When I've broken MFX it has been right behind the HIT insert. I've never footed them though. I bet the footing strengthens the weak spot just behind the HIT insert. Who wants to test it?! Only $8 a pop  :D
