Gear question about bow cases???
« on: October 05, 2011, 02:31:00 PM »
Does anyone make a case that would fit a 64" longbow unstrung and also hold some arrows. Something like the compound guys have but made for Traditional gear. I need a case that is hard, made of plastic or alluminum to protect my gear when I travel. I dont want the tube style, rather a case with hinges and a lid that can be opened up completely like a rifle case. I looked at the cases for camera equipment but whoa that stuff is pricey. Got any suggestions?

I bought a Hoppes rod case at a yard sale a few years ago.  4" by 6" by 66" or so.  It's hinged.  Not really heavy duty but good enough to put in the back of my truck and protect the bow.
