Looks great, very nice job and I appreciate how much time goes into them! What type of hide is on the flap? Looks kinda "brindle" colored...I like it!

YORNOC,
The flap is indeed brindle. It's hair on cow hide. I check the scrap bin every time I'm in Tandys for the brindle. The cost is way to high for the entire hide for me. It's not that common to find it in the scrap bins but I normally buy up any pieces of good size when I do find it.

I also make a pocket quiver with a detachable mini possibles bag that can be used with or without the pocket quiver portion. I plan to make one with the brindle flap as well then I'll have a matching 3D shoot model of my hunting rig.

Very nice. I use to dream with a leather bag and quiver. Now it's matelialized. It's a work of art. God job.

This is a beautiful useful bag and quiver. If you are asking for sugestions I offer this one;
Make the broadhead quiver 1" longer in case you feel down for a arrow and stick your finger into a broadhead.
Also, I would make it to hold up to 6 arrows. Thanks, Ken

I like it alot!  I have thought of this type of arrangement, but yours is much micer than I had thought out.
where do you get the woven strapping material?  Hawk placement is very nice.

I knew someone would ask about the strap. I googled the net for the material and really couldn't find anything I was comfortable ordering. So I hit the thrift stores... the strap is simply made of one of those woven belts you see worn with the khaki shorts. I was surprised how many of these you can find brand new. I think I paid $1.99 for it and got two very nice brass D-rings as well. Looks like one more thing I'll have my eyes out for in the thrift stores.
