Carbon arrows for a 35# longbow

What do you think? I use 29" arrows. Anyone know what carbons might work? I hear they don't like the light bows much.???

Take a look at Shawn Leonard's thread on this page about CE Thunderstorm SE carbon arrows...
They might be just the ticket.
I'm only as good as my first shot.

I would suggest Blackhawk Vapor Carbonwood 2000 series. They look like wood arrows and are a little hard to find but they are the only carbons I've found that work well out of lighter bows ( 25 - 45# ). Make sure they are the 2000 series. With 5" helical fletch and 145 grain field points with the factory inserts they fly great from my daughters 30# longbow at her 25" draw with 27" BOP to nock groove. You might have to reduce point weight if you have a longer draw and you might have to raise your knocking point a little if you don't cant very much. I saw them advertised on Custom King's website about 2 years ago and ordered them through my local archery shop. If I remember right they were about 84 bucks for a dozen. They are quality carbon shafts. I've been told that Gold Tip also makes a light traditional looking shaft but I've never seen any. Hope this helps.

Easton ST Epic 600's. They shoot very well out of my girlfriend's 39# and 35# bows.

Any of the 600s should do the trick for you if carbon is where you want to go.

You might want to look at Beeman Energy.  They are available in 600, 690, and 780 spine.  They are the same shaft as Easton Redline with a lower straightness tolerance, which makes them far more economical.

No question Entrada 600's will shoot.  I shot them from my 41# ACS-CX (29" draw) and have a good friend who was shooting them from a 35# long curve and now shoots them from a 31# Turkey Creek LB (he draws 25").  We were both shooting them full length.

I also think you could shoot full length Carbon Express Maxima 150's.
