Axis insert glue?
« on: October 08, 2011, 08:01:00 PM »
I just finished up a batch arrows easton axis and not thinking twice i used the insert glue that they send with the arrows for the inserts to fasten my snuffers to my brass inserts. So its metal to metal, not metal to carbon. Has anyone done the same? I think it will hold it is a 2 parts expoxy.

Hattrick,I use epoxies to glue inserts in and broadheads to adapters-all the time.It works very well. You should be good.It isn't a bad idea to let any type epoxy cure for 24 hours before shooting.

Hope so, this stuff didn't have any info on it other than its a insert glue. I like expoxies too and have had good luck with them.  Just not sure how this stuff will work beings i'm going  metal to metal. Will see tomorrow
