Looking for a pic of a Checkmate Hunter 3

Or better yet a pic of the Hunter 3 beside a Hunter or Hunter 2

Hi Allan,

hope you don't mind, but the best photo of my Hunter 3 includes me and a mule deer I shot last fall.  I really like the bow since the extra weight was trimmed off, much sleeker and fits the hand well.  Shoots fairly fast and quiet.

Give me a holler if you have any questions about the bow.
cheers, Dale

Thanks a bunch Dale, I've owned hunters and hunter 2's for what seems like my whole life and they always been my go to bow, but I may have to switch after seeing that. what a beauty.

Hunters have a fairly straight riser
Hunter II have a more deflexed riser
Hunter III is a thinned out Hunter II , that is the Riser is a lot thinner and less bulky.

Does anyone know if checkmate is still in business?   I have had a couple of their longbows and one recurve.  I always thought they were an excellent value for the money.

I talked to Chad Weaver ("LBR") a week or so ago and he told me the bowyer has gone MIA. Not sure of their future.

He might be able to locate one for you, though.
