Epoxy finish question?
« on: July 10, 2007, 11:01:00 PM »
For those of you who have used an epoxy finish, what did you use to thin it? And what type of ratio should one use of epoxy versus thinner?
 Thanks in advance, Dennis

I use Denatured Alcohol,You can use acetone I believe. But I had the alcohol already.  Thin it 5:1 Thinner/epoxy. or somthing cose to that. IT should end up thin like water. Wipe or spray it on (I just wipe it on)  but only wipe one way it gets tacky real fast as the thinner evaporates fast.
