Simmons Tree Shark question
«
on:
October 19, 2011, 11:01:00 PM »
For those who have used the Simmons Tree Shark - do you prefer to buy them in the screw in version or buy glue on's and add your adaptor? Looks like the screw in version has the arrow shaft going up further than if you buy the glue on version and glue in the adaptor. Just wondering if there would be difference in BH performance from one type to another?
Thanks,
Joe

I like the glue-on model and use an adapter. I don't like the screw on model cause the back of the blades are not attached to the ferrule. I'd shoot one animal and usually one side of the head would have a bend in it. Even on a pass thru. Glue on model is much stronger.

I put a glue on Tree Shark half way into a metal leg on a deer feeder after it passed through a raccoon... the glue on head is very strong!! I use the 165 Gr.
