Fletching??
«
on:

I just found out my dad has a Bitz feltching jig...this is good news to me, I hear they are one of the best around.
My question...His clamp is a LH clamp and I have some right wing feathers. Would this work, or do I need to order some left wing feathers? My apologies, I am just getting into fletching my own arrows and I am a still green at this.
Thanks in advance.

You will need to get left wing feathers if it is a LH clamp

Right wing go with a right wing clamp and indexer. That being said you can use either with a straight clamp and indexer. Good luck and it is just another way to enjoy archery.

Rw feathers with rw clamp, lw feathers with left clamp. Just buy the right clamp then you can use both kinds off a turkey!
Fletching arrows is fun, I got into it a few months ago, I got a bitz for cheap on an online auction site and I really enjoy fletching now!!
I wouldn't have thought but putting on some tunes, gluing feathers and making beautiful, custom, accurate arrows is a good time!
