another pa encounter

saturday morning got in to stand early.breaking light i can see a scrape min 20 yrds from treestand.so half hour goes by in that time i grunted a few times .short tim after a beauty buck appearscomes in on far side of pine tree .starts to rake horns on limbs makes a scrape boy hes a digger .shot never presented itself but was a awsome experience.20 min go by a young ybuck comes in does same thing same spot i thought he was diggin to china.comes around the tree walks tward my standbrushes r rear quarter against ladder of stand.walks off into sun rise .deerless the remainder of the day. it truly is a wonder full time of year.well i got home ate dinner .short time after my wife says to me theres a car out side with flashers on then police arive .i go out side the person hit a deer with car i pulled deer off road . after the woman left the accident the officer had to shoot the wounded deer 2times in the head so it can expire.my seven and ten yr olds were upset all nite.my wife and had to explain to the there is no doctor for a deer tha badly injured .well have a great week.i only got 6 more days till i can grt out again!

I got broadsided by a deer this spring. Such a sad waste, nasty death. I guess hey are all nasty, that don't include dying in your sleep on a full stomach.
