I received my 3rivers catalog today and there is a product on page 4 that is called Stiktamer Vibration Dampners. Anyone ever use these before? Thoughts?

i have not used them kind but have put the puff balls on my string . i think they are just stuck on with double sided tape and the question there would be to get them located where they would work the best before permantly mounted . that would be the hard part in my mind . .

kinda like do you put them twards the working part of the limb say at the fades or more twards the tips but if there they would get the worst part of the whipping motion but that may be where they need to be to do the best job .

i know im confusing ya cause im kinda confusing myself lol.

i would like to know myself .

Thanks Scott, I was thinking the same thing about placement of these things and if they would be a problem when stringing/unstringing the bow. I have the puffballs on my string now with no complaints but just wanted to get others thoughts on these. Any luck with the osage trees? I know where there is one in cumberland but its also in someones yard, do you need the whole tree trunk or some bigger branches?

sorry rodney that was my mistake i was thinking of the limb savers  but i looked on the web site as i don't have the new catalog yet .

but they seem like the real deal for a recurve shooter kinda combining the all the string hindering problems like hanging the bow in a tree or grass under the string while walking and such . only one negetive ad he said it hindered his stringing and unstringing .
like i said sorry for the jump on with out the rite knowledge .

:campfire:  I have seen them also.  I almost ordered a set with some stuff I just got, but not sure I need them yet for my Dalaa.  Look like a good idea.

I am happy with my Bow Hush but don't see why this wouldn't do the same thing.

I got a set and they are great.  Not so much for quieting the bow as they are for keeping twigs and branches from getting caught in your limb.  I haven't had my bow get snagged since I put them on.
