Just picked this Pendleton hat up this week. It is crushable and made from a 100% wool. It has a 2 3/8" brim.

I roll a corner up and pin mine like Fred Asbell does.

I use a Kathy Kelly Fleece hat.  She makes them out of Newberg, Oregon.  Nice and light.  But just yesterday, I got a green Filson Mackinaw for my birthday. Warm ear flaps!

And she bought me a double Mackinaw jacket too!   :D

Love your Pendleton, Dave!

Here is my dad's old Stetson.  Sent it to a hatter in January to have a new sweat band installed and had them recondition it.  Unfortunately they sized it a bit small.  Have another of his old Resistol hats that is a dark brownish green - had a friend reshape it, and it is working out pretty good so far . . .

Akubra Angler.  Excellent quality and worth the extra cost compared to a wool felt hat.  No need to pin it or put up with it's shape.  A little steam and it's good to go.  Sorry I don't have a picture of myself wearing it.
I find the older I get, the less I used to know!

Just look at My Avatar!! 2 1/2 Brim, and Barely Touches, not enough to cause any Excess wear or Mess with my shooting!! Good Luck!!
