KME Goes above and beyond...
« on: October 28, 2011, 06:57:00 AM »
I just had to reaffirm the fantastic sponsors here on this site.  Ron at KME is no doubt one of the fantastic folks here at this site.  I received a KME Knife sharpener a while back for a Christmas Gift, and half heartedly experimented with the system.

Upon constantly reading about the razor edge from the system, I called Ron up and well, he went above and beyond the call AGAIN   :readit:

The level of service and genuine interest in helping people as has been said many times go beyond words.

No where these days can you find a made in America product and get over an hour on the phone getting my EDGE back.

If you haven't tried a KME system, now is the time...  :readit:

Ron a huge thank you, for getting me on track, and I'm looking forward to Honing

:)

Only bad thing about all this customer service he gives is that he gets so busy, I don't get to just "visit" with him anymore!

I'll give that up to see him continue to enlighten the masses. He spent a good bit of time over the years trying to get me from President of "Can't Sharpen Shix International" to where I can at least keep a bevel KME puts on Tuskers sharp!  :)

Good equipment and better people. He and his Bro!

Broke the mold on them two!

Yep.

Not sure how Ron has any hair left as many folks as he's helped. But he does it with a smile everytime. That's old fashioned customer service.

Yeah, Ron...after you won the Eagle Eye this year at Denton, I think you should drive down and spend some time letting me tune-up your shooting form with my sage advice!

Update:

I learned someting:

1. Mount and spin/align the broadheads and then sharpen...

I did it in the revers order... Ron should supply a box of bandaids with the Knife Sharpener..

Here's a trick I learned: Buy the KME sharpened tuskers. They come with the rubber edge protector.

Carefully remove and save... then mount and spin and put the edge protector back on and tape in place with scoth tape!

If you don't use hot melt like me to mount, perhaps you could leave the edge protector on, but it won't spin worth a hoot that way!
