Ups and downs
« on: October 29, 2011, 12:45:00 AM »
It was looking good this year had some good private land and public land to hunt. Time comming off at work. One week in to the season and I hurt my ankle did what every intelegent man would wraped it and kept hunting for a few more days untill I just almost couldn't get back to the truck. Went to the doctor 2 weeks later and found out I have tendon damage and should stay off if it as much as possible till it heals. For me the season is just about over and felling sorry for myself when the companey I work for offered me a transfer to NE Colorado.  :bigsmyl:   My wife is as excited as I am. We should make the move around Thanksgiving.

There are some good muleys up there and speed goats are all over!  I'm on the other end of the state but still head up that way once in a while to visit the parents.

What's that about every cloud with a silver lining? Didn't care much for Denver (way polluted in '82) but Colo is a hunter's paradise. Western Slope has some big elk. Wait til you see a moose up close!

straitera I don't care for Denver much either but will be living 2.5hr NE of it and 25 miles from any town so it should work. Plus my job will involve quite a bit of interaction with area landowners.
