Howard Hill

AS a kid growing up in New Jersey in the early 50's I saw Howard Hill put on a demonstration at Bambergers Department store in Newark NJ the shot I remember the most he was laying across a bench and shot a dime out of the air, thus started my long addiction with stick and string.

Wish I could have seen some of his exhibitions, that must have been quite a show.

I have shot one of his bows; and it was a joy! Well actually a cheetah; but a joy just the same  :)   And purdy too!! I think he left his magic in his bows  ;)

Just in case you guys aren't aware... there are four Howard Hill videos and a couple of books...   They're available from Howard HIll Archery and also show up regularly on ****.    Also, there is an internet email group for those who are really interested in or shoot Hill bows.   The group web site is:

 www.howardhilllongbowmen.com

you'll find a link there for joining the email list if you want.

He was the man that got me into archery. I loved his short films. He was my #1 man. Thanks Mr. Hill.  It's all good when your bending wood. Ray
