We really appreciate the good word!

Making strings really isn't that hard at all--the hard part is getting accurate information and instructions, and that's what we tried to supply.

Again, Thank You!!  Early reviews make me feel really good about this effort.

One thing I learned early on was getting some people to divulge "secrets" was like pulling teeth!  I had a lot of help getting where I am with string making, but I have a lot of "hard way" lessons also.  And of course most sane people won't ever have the time or drive to put years and years of study into bowstrings, or enjoy it like I do.

Hopefully this will take a lot of the "mystery" out of making strings, and help anyone who is interested add one more step to their hunting experience that was "custom made" by them.

Well, Chad, looks like your "secret" is out. No more winning bets on the splits. haha

Disturbing? You ought to see him do it wearing a backpack on top of a mountain.

I'll order one simply because it's a Traditional Vision Quest production! Great stuff, all of it!   :clapper:

No doubt Denny and Darryl's expertise made a big difference in how it turned out--the close-ups and over-all camera work is excellent.

Hard call--they both contain information that's not found in the other.  "Doin' the Twist" focuses more on flemish, has plans for the stretching jig I use, and demonstrates a timber hitch or bowyer's knot.

How to Builde a Great Bowstring covers flemish, but goes into more detail on endless, and the camera work is much better, especailly the close-ups.

If I had to make a choice, I'd say "How to Build a Great Bowstring", but not by a big margin.
