New to me: Great plains bamboo longbow
« on: November 01, 2011, 05:09:00 PM »
Hi,
due to too much work and too little time in the woods, my bows became a bit too heavy for me (ok, I seem to get older as well...). I discussed that topic with a friend and he said, I've got a longbow that's too heavy for me, but might fit you perfectly well.
So he just handed me his "Great Plains Bamboo" longbow. 66" long and 50*@28" draw weight.
We've been out today and gave the bow a real hard time. It was great!!
What a bow and of course, what a friend!!
Thanks Mike!

Good friends are a blessing indeed. Great Plains makes a fine bow. Congrats!
