Have any of You killed a "BIG GAME" animal with a "BONE" point????? Shape and lenth info. would be cool. I got sone fresh cow leg bones ..to try !

A few years ago Doug Campbell shot a deer or two with bone points. Do a search for the thread.

Hey Jeff....I know Doug Campbell killed a deer with one, and also another with a stone point within minutes of each other, I think.   He also wrote a story in TBM about the hunt.

His point is just a bit different than yours, in that it had a serrated type edge (if I remember correctly), but no matter....that one of yours should work.   I made a couple years ago, but they seemed awful "light" to me, and never tried to take something with one.  

I did kill a deer with a spoon, though!   Good luck with your hunt.
