During the rut, which is right now where I hunt, I prefer to spend the day. If the rut is not taking place 10AM to 2Pm sounds about right.

I went out this morning and saw 4 deer (2 bucks, two does.)
Went out during the "peak" time off the tables between 1030 and 1230 didn't see a think moving -- even the squirrels seemed to be taking siestas.
Going back out shortly, we'll see if things pick back up.

Umm it's Nov 8. The rut in alot of places. I'm thinking all day if you can . Otherwise go when you can and dont let the moon shake your confidence.

Saw a couple at 8:30...nothing after that...I don't let the whole moon thing affect my hunting. Especially not on November 8th..lol...
