Where to get---
« on: July 13, 2007, 01:39:00 PM »
good leather for a good price? I went to my bigest city 30min away and no place had any leather so I could make a quiver, (hobby lobby) and a couple other craft & fabric stores. I guess I'm going to have to order a peice. I do have a deer cape but it's not tanned. It's raw hide with hair on, so I would have to tann it. Thanks for any help.

Being from Kansas you must have a saddle/tac shop somewhere near you.  Most horse tac shops that either make or repair horse tac carry sheet leather, punches, lacing, awls, needles, thread, etc.

Or if you are anywhere near an Amish community they always have a harness shop.
