Arrow Wrap Question

Can you fletch over arrow wraps using Fletch Tite.... or should I use fletching tape...

Platinum works great, old Fletch tite is not a real good choice.

I would suggest using the super glue style adhesive, they work great and much quicker and will really hold well.  Did not have much good luck with the Platinum glues or even Bond Tite.  Mark

I'll second Mark. Tried platinum and they popped off.  I use the super glue and no problems.

For me all I have used is Fletch-tite Platinum and never had one come off of wraps.

fletch-tite platnum has worked well for me.Cant hardly getem off.I use an arizona tool.Dont know if that matters

I use fletch tape and then a drop of fletch-tite platinum at each end of the feather. Works great!!!

Try rubbing over the wrap with a cloth or paper towel dampened with 93 percent isopropyl alcohol.I usually do this to the wrap, or even crown dip if that's the situation, and the base of the quill. I doesn't have to be real thorough and I've found it improved the quality of the bond by a large margin. I even do it when I use tape.                               Grant

Flrcth-tite platinum has worked awesome for me and it only takes me 1/2 hour to do 1/2 dozen arrows.  Shawn

You can use either Fletch tite or fletch tape.  My quiver is full of both types.  I just started using tape and it seems to work fine.

I cleaned mine with alcohol, then went with duco, that seems to work.

Yes. I use bohning paints for cresting, and fletch-tite platinum for fletching. Never had a problem, and I've used several different brands of wraps.

If you use the Fletch tite or that style of fletching glue or fletching tape I would also put a dab of CA/super glue on the leading edge and tail edge of the feathers. This locks it down so they wont start to peal up. The glue I recomend is Beyond Bond by Steel Force. It is by far the best glue out there. DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT USE DUCO CEMNT on WRAPS it never dries.

I have fletched about 500 dozen cap wrapped arrows this year with fletch tite platinum and it works awsome.  Tape works good too, but takes too long. dino

I've always used regular fletch tite and never had a feather come off.

I've fletched around 75 dozen wrapped shafts this year using loc-tite brand superglue gel.  It works great and sets up in seconds.
