OPENING DAY
« on: November 13, 2011, 12:41:00 AM »
Me and my brother went out this morning for opening day 2nd season. Well I have to go over a county for 2nd season around here. Good thing me and my brother grew up there. It wasn't a success as far as antler goes. We went up to the area our dad use to take us hunting as boys 20 years ago. There were slash burns going all over the place. The woods were full of smoke but we decided to stick it out for the morning. We saw a lot of sing. Looked like they were up running around in the full moon last knight. We didn't see any animals but got some good scouting in. I shot a cupel of stumps and saw some bobcat sing. It was still a very successful hunt as far as I'm concerned. I got to spend the day hunting with my brother for the first time in 10 years. It was a great day!
Now then, get your equipment—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

My hunting pardner is also my brother and it makes for a great day a-field. I love hunting with family.
I try not to let my mind wander...It is too small and fragile to be out by itself.
