Anyone use Bow Hush & calf hair on their recurve?
« on: November 15, 2011, 11:15:00 AM »
Does anyone use Bow Hush on their string and calf hair on the grooves of their recurve? I currently use calf hair on my Kodiak Mag but wanted to give Bow Hush a try. If it wouldn't negatively affect performance I'd like to leave the calf hair on as well. Your thoughts?

I had moleskin in the grooves on a bow then put Bow Hush on a new string I got for it. I personally don't think it made a difference in quietness or performance.

The Bow Hush is good medicine by itself and I don't use anything in the grooves anymore.

I put Bowhush on both my recurves and made a huge difference in sound. Haven't tried calf hair.

My bow hush/hush puppy package just arrived in the mail about a minute ago!

Looking forward to installing them!
