...gift from a Old Trad Bowhunter !!!

A Old (83 years old) Bowhunter friend of mine ...John Dawson gave me this side quiver the other day. He said he made it back in the early 60's! I think its aligator skin. The clips (8) are metal. The wood backing the clips looks like walnut!

John doesn't hunt anymore ...but still farms his land...Thanks so much Buddie !!!!

That is nice. Looks to be very well made. I wonder what stories it could tell.
What is the logo on the buckle?

He hunted PA and Ohio with his recurve! I got this buck in Oct this season with selfbow on John's farm. He was happy I did

Ok...so the dog is hilarious! The deer is awesome...only one complaint!

That just "aint" traditional to have Big Green haul your deer outa the woods!!!  "[dntthnk]"    :rolleyes:  

Just ain't right I tell ya!

Congrats all the way around. Super to have something from a cherished friends like that!

Doc Nock..If you look real close ..you'll see that tractor was knapped out of a "huge" piece of chert. It took me 42 years to finish it and get it running... Yes its TRAD !!! Or should I say "PRIMITIVE GREEN" lol
