I shoot a 50" 49# @ 28" Ambush by Two Tracks, and I shoot 3 under.  I notice no finger pinch.  I like how I can sit flat on the ground and shoot the bow no problem.

I'm really liking the looks of Chucks Ambush......I hope to get a chance to shoot one, the shortest I have is a 58"..... Like to shoot one before I order one!   :archer2:

I shoot a 54" @ 27 three under. There is finger pinch but I don't even notice it anymore. I have shot longer bows and own longer bows but the 54" is my go-to.

There are plenty floating around I'm sure there is one I can honestly say I doubt you will be dissapointed if you were to get one.  I love the compactness and lightweight of the bow, not to mention the speed and accuracy are simply amazing.

I can't comment on the Hoots bow, but I draw my Ambush to 29" split, and no finger pinch, and fast.

I can't comment on a Hoots, never shoe one.  I have a few bows under 58" though, and I do shoot 3 under.  I don't notice any finger pinch in any of them.  As far as I'm concerned they all shoot pretty much the same...
I've gotta ....
46" Rodney Wright Stalker.
52" Shawnee Elite
54" BamaBow
56" ILF Dryad riser

The rest are 4 @ 58", 1 @ 60", 1 @ 62" and 1 @ 64", just traded off my 66" for the ILF set up.

I have a Big Foot Yeti that is 54" and I draw 28" with no problems. The bow is light with no hand shock.

I do have a Hoots recurve and it's 56" and no finger pinch what so ever...I would say if there was I would be the first to know cause I severed my shooting hand in a Logsplitter in 1985 and had it reattached...If there was finger pinch I would noticed it first hand...It is a great shooting bow and good for both tree and ground blind...Lee can custom you one in no time and his stock page has a few to choose from, and craftsmanship is one of the best I've ever seen...Oh and Lee is good Folk too...  :D

I shoot a 54 inch Lil Hoot, 26 inch draw, 3 under and I don't feel any string pinch. It does not feel any different than my 58 inch BW PCH.

I would put this bow up against any other bow out there as far as shootability, quality and craftmanship.
