Which quiver for Shawnee?
«

I just traded for a Morrison Shawnee and I was wondering would a Selway slide on recurve quiver work on it. I am using one with my longbow and like the extra weight that it gives the bow. The Shawnee is so light I thought that it would help me shoot it better. Any Shawnee shooters using the Selway quivers or, if not, what types of quivers are you using? Thanks

I used an Eagles flight strap model on mine mounted just above the riser. It works well on the Shawnee.
I never tried a Selway on it.The recurve model may work on it.But the slots may be a little wide possibly? So it may migrate or vibrate a bit possibly?Just try it and see how it goes

Thanks Steelhead, I wasnt sure if the Selway would be a tight fit or not. Appreciate your input.

On my Shawnee I have the quiver that Bob advise:a lightweight Eagle flight strap on model.
I think any well designed strap on works well on it since it is light weight!

I use a Thunderhead Mini Boa as close to the riser as possible.(4 arrows).

The recurve Selway will work on a Shawnee. However, you'll probably need to run a little tape around the openings that slip over the limbs to make them a bit smaller. The longbow Selway is a better fit.

What Felix and others said, any strap on quiver will work generally. I have used a selway and great northern.

I use EFAs on all my Shawnees. Just kinda "fit" to me...
