What other feathers have you used besides turkey feathers for fletching and how did they work?

Goose. Naturally waterproof but too dark to see in flight. Lot more geese killed per turkey and hunters do not keep them like they do turkey
Cast a long shadow-you may provide shade to someone who needs it.  Semper Fi

You have to be careful using just any wild feathers. Only certain feathers are legal. Any game birds are legal to use. Most others are not.
I use primary and secondary turkey and goose feathers, turkey tail feathers and some of the smaller wing feathers from turkey and goose. I have used peacock primary feathers and phesant tail feathers too.
