TradT... ILF Risers?
« on: December 04, 2011, 11:17:00 AM »
Anyone using the TradT... ILF risers?  If so, how do you like them?  Do you have 15", 17", or 19"?  I'm looking into trying my first ILF and these seem like a good value.

If there is another brand ILF in a similar price range that I should be looking at let me know.  I know I can spend a lot, but I'm looking for just a fun, inexpensive way to get into ILF.

Thanks for the input.

Keep your eye on the classifieds, you can find TT,  Dyrad, Morrison, and a bunch of others at a good price....some deals include limbs....not a bad way to get your feet wet for a reasonable cost.

I like used, but for the price there is not much I have found new. Dyrad is not too bad.

You can occasionally find the titans here and other trad websites for as little as $250. I have one I am currently using, 2nd one I hav had, and love it, the short lenght makes a great hunting bow, has enough mass weight to balance well, and is nearly indestructible. TT also has a beginners ILF, cast riser, for around $80, on sale recently for much less than that. I have a local guy set up with one, shoots as good as  mine costing 3 times as much. PM if I can be of more help.

I have a black oynx too and really like it. I like the flatness of the handle. Makes for a very consistent grip.
