Looking for a place to hunt in Kentucky
« on: December 04, 2011, 03:03:00 PM »
I live just north of the ohio river in sounthern Indiana just across from meade county. For years I've been planning on buying my Kentucky license to hunt deer and turkey. Wondered what you all thought of the public ground in that area? Does it have some good hunting?

Yep,

Register at Fort Knox Hunt Control.  You have to draw for weekend hunts but you can small game and archery hunt any weekday except Tuesday I think based on availability--some areas will be closed for training on any given day.   Fort Knox has some bruiser deer...
