S.T.O.S out of production...?
« on: December 13, 2011, 07:11:00 PM »
I just read a post that said this. Is this true?
Who has the inside scoop?

If this is true I need to order me some before they are all gone. My favorite broadhead by far without spending a small fortune.

I hope you are wrong too; went looking for them and found lots backordered; I found 2 dozen 160 gn and picked those up just in case there is some truth to this.

I sent him an email this morning..thx.

I'll come back when he responds. I meant to ask what's going on with the single bevel also but forgot. They have had that posted on their website for a few years now.

I spoke with Todd on the phone and he says he is not in production for now. He is rebuilding his dies for the STOS head. He owned them when Magnus used them and they are now in his possession. As soon as he can get the parts he needs he will be back up and running.

Thx for the update. Did you speak to him about coming out with a single bevel head?

Looks like there are still 4 packs of the 145 on the unmentionable auction board. I just picked up 2 six packs there.

At least STOS will be back when Todd finishes rebuilding his dies. STOS are a great breadhead. It's my favorite 2 bladed broadhead over any others. Works well for me in a heavy arrow setup.

No.  We are not going out of production.  We have had production issues. Things are better and we should b rolling soon.

Then I asked about the single bevel status:

Good this is the head I had planed on trying this fall. I've been using some old Magnus.

Good to hear that he is about back up and running.  I really like that broadhead.
