Ram Horn recurve
« on: December 15, 2011, 02:06:00 PM »
I was wondering if anyone has a takedown ram horn, built by Jim Reynolds. I own two, one piece Ram Horns and love them. If anyone has a takedown could you post some pictures.

Great bows for sure, I had a couple and wished I still had one!!! I have not seen a take down before anywhere. Did Jim build any?

A while back, I think I saw one that was a prototype that Jim Made. I think it was a one of a kind.

I had one I wish I had back....

Great Grip on those bows for sure

Shot one years back. Great shooting recurve. I don't remember why Jim stopped making them. A couple recurves that are very similar are the Kota Killum recurve, Great Northern Ghost and The Kohannah Kurve.

I talked to Jim a couple years ago about his recurve and he stopped making it simply because he wanted to focus on his longbows.

The Ramhorn is  a really good looking curve though,  folks seem to hold on to them!

Here is a few pics of my 54" ramhorn recurves.
The brown one took the bull in my avatar along with a few others.  I draw them to 29".  Jim might build you one if you ask.
