Bitterroot Longbow

Hello all,

I was hoping someone out there might have some pictures of the Bitterroot Longbow by Red Chavez. Ive searched the forum and internet, but cant come up with any good images. I have found pictures of his static recurve, and alot of information on the man himself.I might have a chance of picking one up and just wanted to do some additional research on the bow. If you have any general info on the bow, it would be very helpful also.

Thanks in advance and Happy holidays to you and yours.

I don't have any pic's but I had a Bitteroot longbow by Red.It was a 2-piece T/D,a slice through the handle with a single bolt like a Selway T/D.When Red was building it for me he sent me the bow pre-finished so I could get a feel for the handle.I then sent it back and he made a couple of changes and finished it out.It had a chechen riser with red elm limbs, antler tips and checkered riser. It fit me like a glove and shot just beautifully, fit and finish was excellent.I do regret trading it!
