screw in point on woodies tip needed

hi all,

Screwing in those field points on my woodies is always mess.

Do you have any tips advices for that ?

I'd say get a taper tool and glue regular glue on tips on.

Don't do it. Much better off using glue on heads on wood shafts. If you must, 3-Rivers sells a threaded brass or aluminum collar that is about two inches long.  It's glued over the untapered end of the shaft and the head is screwed into it.
