The best ground hunting seat I have ever used.

The Hammock Seat from fanatic outdoors the absolute best ground hunting seat I have ever used. I have seat in mine from daylight until dark while in complete comfort. It will not work for a popup blind, but is great for a natural ground blind. and best of all it is super light weight and packs up real small; and it only cost $55.00. If you ever hunt from the ground give it a look. I mostly hunt from treestands, but I have been carrying in my Hammock seat with my back pack. When the wind is totaly wrong for my treestand, I just set up my Hammock seat with the wind in my favor. I have taken two deer out of it this year.

What type of material is it?  Is it noisy?  How about shooting a longbow out of it.  Watched a couple vids on it and think it looks like an awesome chair, has all the benefits your looking for.

The material is a little noisy as it is a waterproof material, but after you sit down it is not bad at all.  it is a also a little hard to sit down in as you have to hold the two sides out as you sit down. but it is not hard at all to get up from. like anything else, it takes setting it up a few times to find out how that you like it the best; as it has some adjustment in how you can make it sit. you can make it sit more leaning back or sit more up right. One of the things I like is that you can walk yourself around the tree with your feet to get in whatever position that is needed to make the shot.

I also have a pac seat and Like it also, but it is a little hard to scoot around and to take a less than perfect shot out in the open, works fine in DB blind.

I received the hammock seat back in Nov. I've been saying all along that it's the most comfortable hunting seat I've ever used and I have them all, except for the 360 huntmore "need a mule".

 I sewed a nylon strap to my tote bag, equipped with a quick release buckle so I could either carry it around my waist, or hang it over my shoulder like a backquiver. Makes it so much easier to carry. The material is noisy in cold weather when packing or unpacking. I have not noticed any noise when sitting in the seat. The one leg is adjustable for a more upright position or a more reclined position. If you set it up close to the ground, it will be harder to get out of. If you set it up higher on the tree, it's a snap to get out of. Pretty simple really.

I havn't sat in mine all day, but I have used it all day in different locations. I'm still amazed at how good it feels. When I first got it, I kept wondering when my legs would fall asleep, or get cramped, but it never happened.

If you purchase one of these seats, you'll like it. As soon as they catch on, I'll be looking to purchase another waldrop style chair at a reduced price.

I totally agree with the above posts.       Super comfy.  Its the only seat that I have used that I can sit long periods of time without getting fidgety and moving around in.

Hammock seat came today. Had to set it up on a tree in the yard (Rain,Rain). Just what little time I played with it, very comfortable, silent movement for making shots at a wide range than my Pac Seat allows and easier.... Easy up and down, packs easy into the pouch.

It's not too heavy, certainly less than a tree stand. Ive taken several 4 to 5 hr sits and very comfy. It's not a small lite weight stool that you will not use.

I have used mine for 2 years,if you want to make it better put a foam pad in it.Works great for me i use the pad i use on my ladder stands.

I havn't tried it with a pad, but I have noticed that when it's pretty cold out, I could use some extra layering. I have a Chill Pad left over from a tree lounge treestand and I was thinking of trying that out. It wasn't cold here yesterday  and as usual, I fell asleep twice in the hammock chair.
