I bought a Big Shot and was very impressed with the quality, fit and finger protection.  After my 3rd shooting session, I noticed what looked like a piece of hard plastic had worked up from the middle finger pad.

I contacted John at AL and he said send a picture so he can take a look at it.  I sent him a pic and he replied that it seemed really odd but no worries, just send it back and he'll send a new one to me.

Well once he got it, he said it was actually a piece of feather that got stuck in the pad.  It's never happened before but he's still sending out a new glove and a free tip protector and thanked me for my business.

What is so great about this whole story is that I told John I bought from ********* Archery.  He still stood behind his product even though his product was not defective AND I bought from a vendor.

To me this is quality service from a first class company.

They make a fine glove for sure.  I'd love to have one with the finger stalls a bit longer than standard and maybe figure out a way so that the tips of my fingers can be exposed.

I have one that a buddy gave me but the finger stalls were a bit loose for my tastes.  I contacted AL about possibly getting new stalls put on it and they told me that at that time they didn't do work like that.

I was kinda irked about it at first, but later I understood why.  The guy I talked to seemed like he had juts bought AL or had just started running it.  He talked about wanting to make sure he had everything running correctly and that his regular customers orders had to be taken care of as a matter of priority.  I didn't have a problem with that at all.  I understood where he was coming from and I probably would've said NO to me too.

One of these days I am going to get me a NEW American Leathers glove with the finger stalls made exactly the way I want them.  I guess I need to start saving up.

Love the feel of that nylon overlay on the fingertips, makes for an awesome release.
