*A friend of mine (goes by "durp" on here) asked me to post this so I could post the picture as well.*
Great shot Levi!!!
My grandson Levi took grammas old bow off the rack to make one last quail hunt for the year...
He's been trying to kill one with the stick for a couple of years now...
He's pulled feathers in the past but this one got meat!!!

A Gambel's quail at that. Those birds are world class runners so whatever he did to get a shot on that bird took plenty of skill....regardless of age that's a true trophy. And a tasty meal!
