Does anyone have info on a public land hog hunts in NC?

I googled hog hunts but it didnt produce much. I was hoping to find public land that would be in northern nc so I could make a weekend hunt.

Thanks

Dave

I have heard of a few hogs on Caswell's Game Land, but cannot verify if it is accurate.

Maybe contact a wildlife official for that region?

Caswell Co supposedly has hogs and there is some public land in that Co. I beleive it is a 3 day per week game land, open only on the 3 designated days during each week. I don't know if the hogs are on the game land or not. The way hogs range about depending on food sources I'd say it is a crap shoot to hunt the public land.
Check the NCWRC site there should be a map digest online. There might be some opportunies in the Hyde Co area where there are large tracts of public land.
The best hog populations seem to be in Counties that don't have public land.

Drive further, SC and the GA cost is worth the extra drive.

I have also heard that there are feral hogs on
the Caswell Game Land. I've hunted there a lot
and have never seen one.
