As much as I would like to take full credit, here's how it went. My 2 sons ( Jared-11 and Jonathan-9) both shoot. Jared and Jon go to a catholic school along with 2 boys which one of them is in Jared's class (AJ). Jared went to AJ's house for a birthday party on the 10th of December. When my wife and I went to AJ's house to pick the up we went in and were talking to the family. AJ's dad Paul was talking to me about wanting to get into archery with his boys and eventually start hunting with them. AJ's brother Paul Jr. began to tell me about his freind down the steet and the "cool" compund he has. I talked to them about traditional archery (the best to my ability anyways! LOL!). I got them on their computer and showed them
tradgang as well as our local group's site. I asked Paul and Paul Jr. before going out and buying anything, just wait and watch a couple of DVD's and then make your decision.
A few days later I dropped off Jared at basketball practice up at the school. I knew Paul Sr. would be there because AJ and Paul Jr. are also on the team. When I saw Paul in the gym I handed him my copies of
Primal Dreams and
Essential Encounters. I said "Watch these and let me know what you think." After christmas at another practice I saw Paul Sr. and he said they loved the movies and this site!
I guess so because he went over to Jefferies Archery in Columbia and had them set up AJ and Paul Jr. with a recurve, arrows, ect.!!! I invited them out to my farm today and we had a blast!!

My little one Jon Paul Sr. signed up on here already (snappedarrow251) so hopefully we will here from him on here. So I guess in reality I can also thank Gene, Barry, Mike and all of you on this awesome site for helping me get these three hooked!!
