Lesson Learned
« on: January 03, 2012, 10:36:00 PM »
I have a Black Widow and they recommend hanging the bow by the string between two level hangers strung. Well I decided to hang by the riser with a peg in the grip area. Then put my glove on the sight window to balance it out. Went to leagues tonight and boy was it noisy checked the brace height went from 9" to 8.75. The bow is tuned for 9". Still couldn't hit everything was low. Forgot the nocking point is set for 3/8 with 9" brace height. When I checked it was almost 3/4! No wonder I was hitting low! Moved the nocking point to 3/8 and shot practice from 20 yards to 7yards after league all the arrows were in the Kill zone! had a good time with my friends and that is all that matters. Boy did I have to buy the sodas tonight!
