Some new wool
« on: January 05, 2012, 06:09:00 PM »
This is just in... a new wool shirt to go along with the Longhunter line of pullovers. The wool is a dark earth tone brown and unlike the longhunter shirt which has a separate hood, this one has the hood attached. In keeping with the style of the Longhunter shirts it comes down over the hips for added warmth. It can be worn with or without a belt.

Bowyer Gregg Coffey modeled the shirt holding one of our new ShrewHill longbows. When I saw the picture I thought he looked a little like Robin Hood, so I'm going to call this new shirt,   Shades Of Sherwood

It's not on the website yet but it will be soon.

I like that Ron. What is the weight of the wool? Love the bow too. It even has the shelf on the proper side.    :goldtooth:

The weight of the wool is 26-28oz. The LH ShrewHill is 66" 48#@ 28". It can be seen and available for trial along with a few other ShrewHills in RH at the Traditional Expo in Kalamazoo later this month.

I have been wanting  brown.  Had another deer see right through me the other night in my grey longhunter. Who needs camo:)

I like it Ron!

Can you share what the pricing is?

The only way to improve that photo would be to remove the glasses, then it becomes timeless.

Thanks for sharing with us Ron.

God bless,Mudd

Looks like my old Swanndri wool shirt -which I love.

Ron,
I predict that this style will become your biggest seller within the year.

Will you & the shirts be at Comptons this year? I'd like to try one on.

What Pat B mentioned is kinda interesting ... what about a "kangaroo pouch" handwarming pocket? That could be a nice touch.

TommyBoy, I haven't missed a Compton Rendezvous yet but I'm not sure yet if I'll have a booth this year...   :dunno:

Gregg looks dandy in that new shirt -- and the shirt looks good too. I like the idea of hand warmer pockets.
